Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed that he was once paid to pretend to be a cripple during a staged church miracle while he was still a student.
Solade said he was recruited to act as a cripple during the service and was paid for his participation.
“I have been used for a miracle then, when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple, they paid, I used the money to drink, then I was a student,” he said.
The actor refused to reveal the identities of those involved, saying they are still alive.
His revelation has sparked fresh discussion about staged miracles and the authenticity of some miracle claims in religious gatherings.
