The Day Four activities of the Temporary State Visit Secretariat, located at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane, delivered a compelling blend of ceremonial participation, high-level engagement, and unprecedented Diaspora mobilisation in support of Nigeria’s ongoing State Visit to the United Kingdom.
In the morning, the Secretariat efficiently deployed multiple buses conveying supporters to Windsor, where they joined dignitaries and international observers for the Royal Carriage Procession in honour of *His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and *Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON*, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The presence of Nigerians in the Diaspora, families, youths, professionals, and community leaders added colour, pride, and patriotic symbolism to the historic outing, reinforcing Nigeria’s global cultural identity and diplomatic presence.
As the day transitioned into evening, the Secretariat hosted a crème de la crème strategic engagement session that brought together Nigeria’s most influential voices from government, policy, Diaspora leadership, and the creative industries.
Among those in attendance were *Dr Mustapha Abdullahi*, Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, and *Mrs (Dr) Nonye Ayeni*, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, whose presence affirmed the importance of energy policy and export development within Nigeria’s economic agenda. They were joined by *Dr Dayo Israel*, National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, who attended alongside his team, bringing strong youth representation and grassroots mobilisation energy to the engagement.
Also present was *Senator Wasiu Sanni Ehilokun*, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Marine Transport, alongside *Hajiya Ameena Gamawa*, APC Presidential Liaison Officer and Nominated Federal Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission. Diplomatic and cultural representation was further strengthened by the presence of *Hajia Zainab Maccido Hassan Hussain*, First Secretary for Information, Culture and Sport.
The evening’s gathering was equally enriched by prominent figures from Nigeria’s cultural and Diaspora landscape. *Hon Zack Orji*, a legendary actor and filmmaker, brought gravitas from the creative industry, while *Chief Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest)* added a strong entrepreneurial and social influence dimension. Their presence reflected the growing intersection between governance, culture, and public engagement.
Further reinforcing diaspora coordination and sectoral depth were *Dr (Mrs) Adeola Adeleke Fasubaa*, Director-General, Ekiti Diaspora Relations, and *Dr Nwakaego Chukwukaodinaka* of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, highlighting the expanding role of diaspora expertise in national development. Grassroots mobilisation and advocacy were strongly represented by *Lady Marlene Onyeocha*, President of Igbo Women Ambassadors for Tinubu, alongside *Hon Bobby Michaels*, Special Adviser on Entertainment to the Governor of Imo State and a key coordinator of grassroots support initiatives. The presence of *Councillor Pauline George* added a local governance and UK political dimension to the engagement.
The session recorded an unprecedented turnout, with attendees spanning youths, men, women, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders, all converging in a vibrant atmosphere of unity, dialogue, and national purpose.
Participants engaged in forward-looking discussions centred on economic reforms, investment opportunities, diaspora integration, and the broader Renewed Hope agenda. The energy in the room reflected a growing global confidence in Nigeria’s leadership and a shared commitment to national progress.
