Senator representing NASARAWA North IN the Senate, Senator Godiya Akwashiki is dead.
He was said to have died after a protracted illness.
Godiya Akwashiki (born 3 August 1973) in Angba Iggah of Nasarawa State, a Nigerian politician. He was until his death, the current senator representing Nasarawa North senatorial district in Nasarawa State. He was elected into the senate during the 2019 general elections of Nigeria. Akwashiki was re-elected during the 2023 general election. Before being elected into the senate he was the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
