Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has set the social media on frenzy after she and her UK-based brother, Sweezzy, unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation of possible family tension.
The development comes at a time when Regina’s personal life has been under intense public scrutiny following her ongoing marital crisis with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
A recent check also showed that Regina’s younger brother, Sammy West, has unfollowed Sweezzy on the photo-sharing app. The reason behind the social media fallout remains unclear, leaving fans and followers guessing about what may have gone wrong within the family.
This is particularly striking as Sweezzy, alongside their mother, Rita Daniels, was vocal in support of Sammy West during his recent legal troubles. Sammy was arrested on November 6, 2025, and granted a ₦5 million bail on November 10, 2025.
He was reportedly arrested in Lagos and taken to Abuja over a petition allegedly filed by Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying. The arrest was widely linked to the lingering marital dispute between Regina Daniels and the senator, which has been surrounded by allegations of domestic violence and abuse of influence.
Adding to the unfolding drama, Regina Daniels recently spoke openly about her child custody battle with Ned Nwoko. She accused the senator of dismissing her nannies, allegedly coercing them into making false claims against her, and seeking full custody of their children, despite the children currently being in his care.
However, neither Regina nor her brothers have addressed the unfollowing publicly.
