In the last few days, residents of Abuja have felt the effect of flash flood.
Daily Trust had reported how several mansions in Maitama Extension were submerged by flood over the weekend.
Responding, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, ordered demolition of houses blocking water channel.
Hours after the order, there was downpour which affected different parts of the city including Augustus Aikhonu Street in Utako District, Abuja.
This disrupted free flow of vehicular movement as motorists were forced to slow down.
