Dr. Betta Edu has congratulated Cross River State Governor, Apostle Senator Bassey Edet Otu, on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
In her congratulatory message, Edu said Otu’s victory across all 196 council wards in the state’s 18 local government areas reflects the trust and confidence the people have in his leadership and people-centered agenda.
“Your overwhelming win with 116,038 votes is a clear testament to the support for your administration and your vision for a greater Cross River State,” she stated.
Edu added that APC members in the state are ready to mobilize behind the governor to ensure his re-election and to deliver over 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in Cross River during the 2027 general election.
She ended the message by congratulating the governor once again and reaffirming her commitment to the party’s success.
