Planning Committee Holds Strategic Meeting Ahead of All Women Inter-States Debate 2.0

The Planning Committee for the All Women Inter-States Debate 2.0 has held a strategic meeting with Princess D.D. Azura, National President of the National Council of Women Societies Nigeria, as preparations intensify for the July 2026 event.

The meeting focused on aligning plans for the second edition of the debate, scheduled to hold on 6th and 7th July 2026 in Abuja.

The 2026 edition carries the theme *“Family Inclusion in National Development for the Year 2026”* and operates under the motto: _“Promoting the Intellectual Capacity of Women for Better Political Participation.”_ The initiative is organized by the African Mothers Initiative (AMI HAPPINESS WOMEN PROGRESSIVE AND CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION) which is under the Office of the First Lady of Cross River State and supported by the APC National Women Leader

Meanwhile we humbly pursue a collaboration with The Mother Leader of our Nation, Her Excellency Sen Oluremi Tinubu CON and the Nigeria Governors’ Spouses Forum.

According to materials shared by the organizers, the debate aims to strengthen women’s participation in politics and governance by providing a platform to discuss policy, leadership, and national development from a family-centered perspective.

The event will also involve the National Council of Women Societies Nigeria, NCWS, and other key stakeholders in the women’s advocacy space.

The 2026 edition follows the first outing of the All Women Inter-States Debate, with organizers saying this year’s program will expand participation and deepen engagement across states.
