Bandits have abducted all passengers travelling in a commercial Sienna bus after a brazen attack along the Ejule–Aloma Road in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
SaharaReporters gathered that the incident occurred a few hours ago when the bus was intercepted on the highway by armed men suspected to be bandits.
Although full details of the attack remain sketchy as of press time, local sources told SaharaReporters that the assailants blocked the road, forced the vehicle to stop and marched all occupants into the bush.

As of the time of filing this report, security agencies in the state had yet to issue an official statement on the incident or confirm whether any rescue operation had commenced.
Residents and regular commuters along the Ejule–Aloma corridor have been advised to avoid the route and remain on high alert, amid growing concerns over worsening insecurity in parts of Kogi State.

The latest abduction adds to a series of attacks on highways in Kogi, where travellers have increasingly become targets of armed groups operating with seeming impunity.
