ABUJA HOSPITAL DISCHARGES 2 MORE PATIENTS WHO HAD TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, is to discharge two more patients who recovered from the coronavirus disease on Thursday.

The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Bissallal Ekele, disclosed this while receiving N500m worth of medical interventions from Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited.

MESL is the operator of Kainji and Jebba hydropower plants located in Niger State.

Ekele said, “As I speak to you now, we discharged seven patients two days ago and by sunset we hope to discharge two more patients.”

The CMD explained that the successes were achieved due to the support of corporate firms like MESL.

The Managing Director, MESL, Lamu Audu, said the commitment by his firm would further boost the federal and state governments’ efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 across the country.
