Six passengers said to have been travelling from Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, to Kabba town, have been reportedly kidnapped.
The kidnap victims, whose identities are yet to be known, were said to have been kidnapped on Sunday at about 6pm. In the last one month, no less than thirty passengers have been abducted along the same route. In Kogi alone, the number of kidnapped people are believed to have topped 50 in the last twenty days. Those who have regained their freedom paid dearly.
The Kogi State Police Command is yet to confirm the development.
