+ Groom’s Father Flies Guests In Private Jets, Air Peace Aircrafts

Abu Dhabi is going to be lit this weekend! The Adekeke family will be storming the capital city of the United Arab Emirates this weekend for the white wedding ceremony of their first son, Adewale. The groom is the elder brother of David Adeleke, the multiple award-winning Nigerian musician, popularly known as Davido. His bride, Ekanem Kani Eyo-Ita, is an Efik from Calabar, Cross River State.

Adewale and Kani began their journey into matrimony in July 2019, when they got engaged. Later in December, the couple had their introduction and traditional ceremony in Calabar.

The grand finale of the wedding ceremony is slated to hold tomorrow, Saturday, February 1 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. It will be held at the Emirates Palace Hotel, West Corniche Road, Abu Dhabi; and it will be attended by many dignitaries as well. The groom’s father, Deji Adeleke, is leaving no stone unturned in making the event a memorable one for the couple. The ELITES gathered that Adeleke has booked Air Peace Airline to fly his guests from Lagos to and from Abu Dhabi. The first batch of guests is billed to depart for the UAE today, Friday, January 31. The billionaire businessman will also be flying many prominent personalities to the wedding ceremony in various private jets. Also, various hotels have been booked to accommodate the guests for the weekend.

Last May, the bride, Kani, as she is fondly called, bagged a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.

Adewale, who is professionally known as ChairmanHKN, is a song-writer and businessman. He was born in December 11, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States of America. His father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke is a prominent billionaire business magnate and the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited. His mother, Grace Ajunwa is a California based lawyer.

Upon the completion of his first degree in business administration from Pacific Union College, California, USA. Adewale relocated to Lagos, Nigeria, in 2010. Later in 2012, he produced the album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ on his record label HKN Music. In 2015 Adewale was appointed Executive Director in his father’s Energy Company Pacific Energy.

It will be recalled that Adeleke’s first daughter, Coco Ashley, got married to her husband Caleb Adaji in Dubai in May 2016.

The choice of Abu Dhabi as venue for the destination wedding by the Adeleke and Eyo-Ita families is understandable. It is the capital and the second-most populous city of the United Arab Emirates (after Dubai). It is also the capital of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which is the largest of the UAE’s seven emirates. The city of Abu Dhabi is located on an island in the Persian Gulf, off the Central West Coast. Most of the city and the Emirate reside on the mainland connected to the rest of the country. As of 2019, Abu Dhabi’s urban area had an estimated population of 1.45 million, out of 2.9 million in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, as of 2016.
